Inspired from the infamous Bird Cage Theater in Tombstone Arizona and its late 19th Century wallpaper. The collaborators offer this new multi-media art exhibition featuring portraits of modern-day women revealing their provocative and often “wild” west personas in conjunction with their modern day lives. 

Recent graduates from ASU’s Intermedia Art program Weeks and Sweet are alumni Artlink curators and both share a love for history, especially Arizona history and the state’s adventurous early women. They poke some aesthetic fun with the past displaying it in the beautiful and historic AE England building in downtown Phoenix’s new Civic Space.
